Evolution Principal Erich Kirshner is an experienced public relations and marketing professional who has worked in the strategic communications field since 1990. His vast experience as a print journalist, non-profit public relations and marketing manager, and public relations and marketing agency owner has given him the knowledge and experience to ensure Evolution’s clients’ goals are consistently met and exceeded.

Key milestones for Erich include shaping the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s successful response to the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic in Colorado and playing a key role in creating and executing Evolution’s award-winning “Immunize for Good” campaign.

Erich specializes in both public and private health care marketing and public relations. Current and former clients include the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine, Tri-County Health Department, IESO Digital Health, Clínica Tepeyac, Partners in Pediatrics, and Centura (Porter and Littleton Adventist Hospitals). In addition, Erich has developed expertise in the legal and financial services sectors, delivering strategic communications guidance and crisis communications services to clients in these professional service areas.

Erich is the past president of the Colorado Healthcare Strategy and Management and Colorado Healthcare Communicators professional societies. Erich has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism degree from The University of Wyoming and a Master of Science degree in Journalism from The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Father of three daughters (including his youngest Bella who has special needs), Erich devotes much of his free time to Special Olympics and other programs focused on supporting individuals with special needs. In addition, Erich, his wife Jean, and Bella are co-founders and active volunteers with Drifter’s Hearts of Hope, one of Colorado’s largest horse rescue nonprofits.
